Plot 1961 When Erika was born her  mother    (who has a history of mental illness)  was taken into hospital the  creepy janitor who is obsessed with her, planned on kidnapping Erika.  Her mother realized what he was planning on and  ran from the hospital.  Her mother was so scared that the man was after Erika that she kept  her safe in a locked room  and told her that it was  a bad world . The  mother freezes to death  in the  hospital basement  hiding from the janitor. 1975   As Erika grew older she  wanted to go outside more and more . When she was 14 years old and her stepmother went out shopping so  Erika decided to go outside . The Janitor who had been secretly stalking Erika saw she had left and  kidnapped her . Key dates-  Preliminary material issued to you: Monday 24th April Examination: Tuesday 23rd May Unit 1 (the exam) = 40% of your GCSE grade. Unit 2 (C/A) = 60% of your overall grade.
