1961

When Erika was born her mother  (who has a history of mental illness) was taken into hospital the creepy janitor who is obsessed with her, planned on kidnapping Erika. Her mother realized what he was planning on and ran from the hospital. Her mother was so scared that the man was after Erika that she kept her safe in a locked room and told her that it was a bad world. The mother freezes to death in the hospital basement hiding from the janitor.

1975

 As Erika grew older she wanted to go outside more and more. When she was 14 years old and her stepmother went out shopping so Erika decided to go outside. The Janitor who had been secretly stalking Erika saw she had left and kidnapped her. He only wanted her to be his daughter but because she would just scream and run away he had to tie her up. He stiches her mouth together so she couldn’t scream and locked her in the hospital basement where her mother had died. 

Her mum’s spirit gives her flashbacks from when she was born all the way through her life. Erika channels all of this information to her dad who finally gets to Erika (he has been searching for her). Just as they were about to escape the janitor comes and murders her father. She can see all of her father’s happy life and how much he loved her and her mum. This makes Erika extremely angry and gives her powers to escape and kill the janitor she stiches his lips together and strangles him to death. She runs back to her adopted mother who get’s terrified of Erika and her stitched lips that she lures her into the room. Erika realises what she was trying to. She makes the room spin and her step mum starts flying around the room with all of the furniture it smashes into her step mums head and she dies. Her Father comes into the room and stops her. She allows him to lock her up in the basement in the hospital for the rest of her life so can no longer hurt anyone.

·      (When she escaped) Walks into her step mum and she pushes her into a room and says “I told you to stay inside”
